Title
Mujammiʻ al-taḥrīrāt al-mutaʻalliqah ilá mā jará bi-iʻlām wa-muḥākamat Sulaymān al-Ḥalabī
Description
This volume contains the Arabic translation of the proceedings against Sulayman al-Halabi, who assassinated general Jean-Baptiste Kléber, the commander of the French forces in Egypt, in 1800. Both the typeface and the language of the text are awkward, and recognizably foreign, but the work is one of the earliest examples of Arabic printing with movable type in Egypt.
